Arrived safely in Spb again after a long drive, 850 km, 12h, but caught a few exciting things with the dashcam, will edit later.
Anyway, saw some familiar shapes, although not a big fan of the paintwork:
Went for dinner at Shater, favorite place, major change of interior, but they do that a few times a year:
Had japan’s number one beer, if that was the best, I don’t need to taste the rest:
St Petersburg has a lot of lights for new years:
Realised that with the current road condition, the load and quality of the fuel the consumption is directly linked to the speed. 90 km/h = 0,9l/10 km, 100 km/h = 1l/10 km, 110 km/h = 1,1l/10 km…
Left Savinskiy very sad this morning, going to miss all the very nice people, but will be back as soon as possible.
Thank you everyone….
I felt that the Ford needed a checkup:
No vital fluids needed, not even transmission oil, which it seems to take as much as petrol otherwise:
Just needed some air for the tires.
Dasha’s mother Lyudmila cooks the best food, here pancakes filled with stewed chicken and mushrooms, held together by a string of smoked cheese.
Then the plate goes into the oven and this comes out, delicious…
Ok, I’ve seen a few strange places of drinking alkohol in my life, no exception here…
A nightclub where you bring your own alkohol and the ambulance supposedly show up every evening?
What can possibly go wrong?
Met a guy named Roma, we were ordered by our better halves to go shopping. 30 min later in the middle of the night we were drinking our own vodka… Half a bottle later in everything seems good…
Except for the bathroom, this is a very respectable picture of it:
What’s not to love about Russia, it is great:
A very big Christmas tree…
And neighbours made a awesome balloon animal…
Unfortunately Dasha’s parents were hit in the car, no injuries, only the car that took a good beating.
Both doors, one window and the B-pillar.
It doesn’t seem to have developed any more sicknesses…
